Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Redefine structure for procurement & payment review process and define strategy in driving efficiencies in line with Amex policies and procedures
- Perform regular risk based internal audits for multiple sub-processes within procurement & payment function to highlight process gaps and control deficiencies
- Lead review of root cause analysis of risk events as an input to the development of preventive controls and ensure implementation of controls
- Validate design and operating effectiveness of Internal controls to support control owners / process owners in quarterly assertion process
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including business, Auditors, IAG, Operational excellence, etc. for internal / external audits and internal control testing
- Redefine structure for procurement & payment processes in line with Amex policies and procedures
- Interact with business partners to identify gaps in process and fix them proactively
- Review legacy payments data to identify opportunities to improve controls around payments
- Strategize development of data quality standards to drive consistency
- Being able to deal with an environment of continuous change, with the need to absorb information quickly, think laterally and work independently.
- Needs to build business relationships and to collaborate with business partners.
- Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- CA/MBA/Graduate with 7 to 8 years of core risk management experience
- Excellent communication & analytical skills and should be able to manage queries independently.
- Result focus & self-driven & high on flexibility.
- Good on multitasking & time management
- Knowledge of Amex system - Global Payment System (Bridger/Oracle/Ariba/Stream) will be an added advantage
- Basic Accounting Knowledge
- Good communication skills

- High on flexibility
- Knowledge of MS-Excel
