Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to Our Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:• Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.• Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.• Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.• Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.• Product approval from leading Project Management Consultant, Electrical Consultants and Architects in south India to tap the IT, ITES, Data center and Health care segments.Prescription ABB Technical Specifications exclusively for 3ph-3ph range of UPS systems through electrical consultants for the IT and Data center projects in South India• Creating the new key accounts (Medical OEM. Printing machineries, CNC machineries, F&B ) for the 3PH UPS ranges in South India.

Qualifications for the role

  • 15 Years + experience in UPS industry.
  • Good knowledge in 3PH UPS product & Good knowledge of 3PH UPS market in south India.
  • Creating new customers and retaining the existing customers by consistently maintaining personal relations and prompt support.
  • Ensure to achieve the business targets for the 3ph UPS range in Southern India.
  • Team player and leadership.
